Daniel Novakovich has been in landscape design for over 30 years, with 25 years in Florida. Back in his youth, he felt a passion for the beauty of artistic design and learned he had the ability to understand landscape sketching. He went on to study at West Virginia University where he acquired a BSLA degree in Landscape Arcchitecture. While employed with the DeBartolo Corporation, at that time, one of the largest shopping mall developers, he would fly down to the Ft. Lauderdale / Homestead area to select specimen plant materials to be installed into all the shopping centers. These trips allowed Daniel to acquire the desire to create the unique spaces with the Florida flora and became quite familiar with Florida palms and foliage varieties.
In 2019, Dan made the exciting decision to start his own landscape architecture design firm in Naples, Florida. He initially obtained work with previous developers and clients who he had already earned their trust that the finished product would be outstanding. He can now work with more artistic freedom and help clients execute their vision for their personal or commercial spaces. His passion is for composing unique, exciting spaces to compliment people’s homes and offices.
He now helps developers, contractors, business owners, and homeowners by creating the set of documents that can be used for competitive bidding and building purposes. His business has allowed him a greater freedom of artistic expression and design.
Daniel is a licensed landscape architect licensed in the state of Florida as a Landscape Architect #1457. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and has received several awards over the course of his career.
